Our History
Our company was founded by Sam Stryffeler in 1946 as the Durolet Manufacturing Company and changed to Red Seal Electric Company in 1952. The first product offerings were proprietary electrical insulation devices for the open wiring systems utilized in steel mills.
While still producing these products, Red Seal has evolved into a complete machine shop for fabricating composite materials.
Markets served include Food and Material Handling, Electro-Magnet Manufacturing and Repair, Rubber Molding, Power Generation and Transmission, Induction Heating, Water Treatment, and Glass Manufacturing - virtually any process that needs custom machined parts that provide thermal, electrical, or mechanical insulation.
Red Seal holds Certificate No. 02.168.2 ISO 9001:2015 Without Design for Contract Manufacturing and distribution of mineral, fiberglass, plastic, refractory, and ceramic insulation.
