CNC Machinist Essential Duties:
Sets up and operates computerized and manual machinery to fabricate parts according to Company needs, applicable policies, and ISO Procedures.
Physical Abilities Required:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during the work day, bend at the knees to facilitate lifting, and bend at the waist to lean into machine tool enclosures to load and unload parts.
Ability to climb on bed of large mills to properly seat materials with fixturing tape to secure for machining.
Ability to stand and or walk around the plant for the duration of the work day. Ability to work a 40-hour week/ standard shift and overtime hours when necessary.
Ability to be certified to operate a forklift.
Proficiency in use of tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
Ability to understand / apply basic shop math calculations.
Ability to read / interpret basic blueprints.
Possess a valid driver's license and the ability to be insured by the Company.
