The Center, located in the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 14040 Puritas Ave - Cleveland, Ohio 44135, serves approximately 500 families per month who reside in the West Park area. It is part of the Hunger Network of Greater Cleveland.

New Equipment

Red Seal has added a new Lever 500 Automatic Roll Slitter to our Flexibles Department. The new machine will add much needed capacity for cutting cores to rewind Nomex, and slit pressure sensitive tapes, gasket materials and films. We will continue to invest in Red Seal to brin you, the customer, the most responsive lead times in the industry.

At Red Seal we have long respected Taylored Industries both for its owners and as a business. We, ourselves, have been in business for more than 60 years and have established our own track record of fabricating composite insulation products.

Why the "Red Seal" Name?

The products Red Seal Electric sold were actually produced by the Durolet Manufacturing Company, founded in September 1946, by Sam Stryffeler. 

With all end customers believing that Red Seal Electric produced the products, it was a natural progression to change the name of Durolet Manufacturing Company to Red Seal Electric at Max’s retirement  –  and on April 23rd, 1952 the name was legally changed. 

Interestingly, our logo, which began appearing on documents in the mid-1950’s features a sea lion, not a seal –  the two are mainly distinguished from each other by their ears and flippers. 

That’s our story and we’re sticking to it…
