Isoplan is composed of special ceramic and mineral fibers.

Isoplan® 750 is an insulation material based on biosoluble mineral fibers and fillers that can be used continuously at temperatures of up to 750 °C. Its good thermal insulation properties make the material ideal for a variety of applications that demand an economical, high-performance solution.

Isoplan 750 Applications:

  • With its excellent thermal conductivity properties, Isoplan can be used for high temperature gaskets as well as perimeter and sidewall mold insulation. The material can be cut with a utility knife.

  • Isoplan is used in a wide range of applications and industries including: steel, foundries, industrial furnace, oil, gas burners, hearth flaps, fire-resisting doors, and the glass industry.

  • Max Operating Temp - 1350ºF/750ºC

  • Density - 60 pcf .95 g/cm3

  • Thermal Conductivity (btu in/hr, ft²,ºF) - 0.83 (75º F) 0.86 (400º F) 0.92 (600º F) 0.97 (800º F) 1.0 (1000º F)

  • Compressive Strength - 2800 psi - for 5% deformation; 5000 psi - for 10% deformation
