PROMATECT®-MST is a self-supporting calcium silicate fire protection board designed for passive fire protection and high temperature applications. It is commonly used in fire-rated assemblies for commercial, industrial, and building construction applications including fire dampers, smoke extraction dampers, ventilation systems, and other assemblies requiring non-combustible performance.
PROMATECT®-MST provides excellent mechanical strength and dimensional stability while maintaining a high surface hardness. It is non-combustible with an A1 fire classification and can be used in applications where dependable fire resistance and thermal insulation performance are required. PROMATECT®-MST is suitable for use in a variety of structural and industrial fire protection systems.
PROMATECT®-MST can be machined, cut, drilled, and fabricated using standard woodworking tools, making installation efficient in both shop and field applications. The board is sanded on both sides for a smooth finish and is available in multiple thicknesses to meet a wide range of project requirements. It is designed for durability and ease of handling in demanding environments.
PROMATECT®-MST has low thermal conductivity, excellent compressive strength, and stable moisture performance, making it well suited for both fire-rated and high temperature insulation assemblies. It is manufactured under ISO 9001 certified production standards and has been developed for use in systems requiring reliable passive fire protection performance.
