Red Seal Hosts WIRE-Net ‘AIM’ Camp

As a non profit economic development organization, WIRE-Net recognizes the importance of working with youth and its impact on building a stronger workforce for our members. It is essential that we get these students trained and prepared to enter the workforce as responsible, hard working individuals with the foundational knowledge and aptitude to make a positive contribution to your team.

AIM Camp exposes youth to manufacturing by orienting them to basic shop math with hands on experience in a machine shop. AIM's program is offered in the summer to students entering the 9th or 10th grade.

Rick Miller, Production Manager, explains the Slitter Room operations.
